My story

I was born and grew up on the Middle Moselle in what was then a typical local family. Together with my parents and six siblings, I tended our vineyards, kept animals and looked after a large garden. It only worked because the whole family worked together and supported one another – an experience that shaped me profoundly.

Life took me to the Eifel. Work, family and my three sons kept me busy, but I never lost touch with the Moselle. Even during stressful times, I could always find a little peace here: the views of the steep vineyards, the Moselle, nature, the people, the wine …

And so the wish grew to create a house where people could enjoy a holiday, rest and relaxation. With great enthusiasm and the whole family's hard work, we extensively renovated the first house – and more places for guests followed.
